Chartered in Hamburg, Berks County, Vaux Lodge No. 406 has carried the craft forward through generations of Pennsylvania Masons.
Our roots in Hamburg
Vaux Lodge No. 406 has served Freemasons in and around Hamburg, Berks County, for generations, meeting at the Temple of Vaux Lodge and carrying forward the traditions of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania — the oldest Grand Lodge in the United States, chartered in 1731.

Building back, together
Like many lodges, Vaux Lodge felt the strain of the COVID-19 years — declining attendance and the loss of several long-time members left the lodge searching for its footing. Over the past several years, the brothers of Vaux Lodge have worked deliberately to rebuild: welcoming new candidates, restoring stated meetings, and reconnecting with the Hamburg community.
That renewal is still underway — and it's part of why this website exists. We want prospective members and old friends of the lodge alike to see what we're building.
